Pushing flexibility to the limit with new equipment
The presentation explores the benefits of retrofitting existing pumped storage hydropower plants using a full-size frequency converter. This approach is aimed at maximising the plant’s flexibility, enabling the provision of power flexibility to the grid while in pump mode but also improving overall plant operations.
