This Technical White Paper presents the guideline for implementation of technological solutions to increase the flexibility of the plant, to reach the improvements showcased in the Ancillary Services Matrix and in the Key Performance Indicators KPIs matrix. These guidelines are divided by kind of hydropower plants, namely storage power plants, pumped storage power plants, and run of river power plants. Each chapter describes the range of applicability of XFLEX HYDRO solutions, the expected benefits, and the implementation steps of each specific solutions.
